Grayground: Ronald Ventura

Grayground is a painting made by contemporary artist Ronald Ventura it shows a white muscular horse and a dark misty horse going in opposite direction and in the point where they diverge, creates a gap. this signifies what happens when two entities go in separate ways, it creates a gap between and the gap may or may not signify something.

In this artwork, a multi layering of combining images of sculpting, hyperrealism, graffiti and doodling using photoshop. the canvas is filled to the brim with such images that complements each other and greatly integrated giving birth to this piece of art which makes it different to other contemporary artist which uses mostly one theme.                            Somehow, this artwork depicts us, we have many different opinions in our society and those different opinions build-up and makes our society separate because of different points of view and this creates a gap between societies which may look trivial but may affect us in different ways in creating decision and doing actions.

  1. The painting is very beautiful and expressive. I think the complexity, effort, and heart put into the piece is worth the price. I very much agree that different opinions causes division in the society and may lead to destruction or improvement of the society.
